How long does the ceremony take?
About 20 minutes also allow for signing the license and pictures.

What is the fee structure?
I have a variety of wedding packages depending on your needs and location. Fees are refundable up to 90 days prior to the wedding of which 50% is non-refundable. A deposit is required to secure your date and time.

Can we meet you before we reserve the date and time?
Yes, if it is convenient we can meet at my home office, an introductory planning meeting is always available at no charge before you reserve the date.

Do you have an emergency back up Officiant on my wedding day?
Yes, I have several associates that will officiate the ceremony if there is an emergency.

Do we have to memorize our vows?
On the wedding day you can read the vows off a small card or I will prompt you with a few words at a time. Very few people memorize the vows.

Can we write our own vows?
Yes, there are sample vows on my web page to inspire you to create your own vows.

Can our children take part in the ceremony?
Yes, there are several ways to include children. Here are a few: The sand ceremony, or a presentation of a piece of jewelry or a medallion (inscribed) and given to the child during the ceremony. They can assist with the Unity candle ceremony or rose ceremony. Children can also be included by saying a poem or reading.

Is a rehearsal necessary and how much does it cost?
This depends on the size of the wedding party and location. A walk through is always helpful; however, you may or may not need the Officiant present. There is an additional charge for a rehearsal and this varies on the amount of time that is involved and the location.

What do you wear to the ceremony?
I wear a clergy’s robe or a formal black suit at your request.

Will you stay for dinner etc.?
I certainly appreciate the invitation, but generally I do not stay for the dinner or reception.

What time will you arrive?
I arrive 20 to 30 minutes before the ceremony.

Is a gratuity expected?
No, but you may express your gratitude in that way or you can send a thank you card and email a picture. The best is to refer a friend.

How do I book you for my wedding?
You will want to book your Wedding officiant as soon as you have the reception venue reserved with the date and time. Go to the contact page for details to email me or call.
